AST is pleased to announce the launch of our updated online catalog, redesigned from the ground up with our customers’ needs in mind.
Finding the right bearing in an inventory of over 10,000 products can be tricky! That’s why we completely revamped our online catalogue with an innovative layout and a number of newly-added features for an exceptional user experience centered around functionality.
UPDATED LAYOUT
The new online catalog will help guide the user with our faceted search, which will improve the user-experience when searching and browsing for a specific product.
Multiple filters available within the updated navigational panel will guide users to focused options based on their unique specifications. Providing this navigation panel will help the user quickly pare down selections to just a handful of choices, rather than being overwhelmed by hundreds of options. Products can be filtered by a variety of checkbox selections or min to max range entry – whichever best suits their needs.
Ensuring that the user is able to return to a previous inquiry, we now offer a category browsing history which will track their search filter path to quickly recall it.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
We’ve also added new features to our product specifications page for our users to interact with.
Once a particular bearing size is selected, users can submit inquiries easily and efficiently. By entering the quantity to purchase, all a user has to do is select the Send RFQ to AST button, and their inquiry will be automatically entered for our team to respond to.
We’ve also made it easier to differentiate between the units of measure with the specifications table. This table will distinguish English (inch, lbs) from Metric (mm, Newtons) sizes. Plus, the documentation table displays useful hyperlinks to learn more about specific product data, such as material used, specific tolerances, fitting sizes, etc.
VIEW SPEC SHEET
Once a product is selected, users can click the view spec sheet button, which will redirect to our product details page. There, you can view a complete set of technical specifications, along with the product images. Free, downloadable 3D CAD models in a number of formats are also available for all bearing products.
