Although engineered, designed, and manufactured to aviation’s strict quality assurance and quality control requirements, many other industries used the same bearings where uncompromised quality and performance meet up with primarily oscillatory motion with or without limited rotation.
AST Bearings Quality Program is AS9100 Rev C Certified
AST Bearings was the first bearing company in the world to earn AS9100 Rev C certification. AS9100 is the quality management system (QMS) standard for the aviation, space, and defense industries. It is governed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) of SAE International (not ISO). All Airframe Control Bearings supplied by AST are governed by AST's certified QMS.
